About Rod Jones
I've been an SLR photographer for 50 years. I switched to digital around 20 years ago starting with a great little point-and-shoot from Olympus and then via a procession of dSLRs, to my current Lumix FZ1000-2 which IMHO runs rings around all previous lens/body combinations! I tend to mostly take landscapes, buildings and weather, but I'm always on the lookout for unusual or humorous shots. I'm a big fan of Adobe Photoshop for maximising the potential of a shot, and sometimes enjoy getting 'creative', but mostly using techniques of my own, rather than the 'off the peg' Photoshop filters.

HDR can get carried away, but you have done a remarkable job on this image, Rod! Gorgeous! L/f
Rod Jones replied:
Hi Joe... Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree about HDR (actually, this is tonemapping - poor man's HDR!), but anyway I thought it worked quite well for this shot.

Beautiful... If I had a lake home this would be purchased and hanging in it..
Rod Jones replied:
Thanks Regina... I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed that you win the lottery and buy a lakeside home!
