Hi Karen... thanks very much for the kind comments

This is great, Rod! At first I thought it was just reflections on the water but there is a fine sheen of ice on the pond! The golden colors are just glorious.

About Rod Jones

Rod Jones

I've been an SLR photographer for 50 years. I switched to digital around 20 years ago starting with a great little point-and-shoot from Olympus and then via a procession of dSLRs, to my current Lumix FZ1000-2 which IMHO runs rings around all previous lens/body combinations! I tend to mostly take landscapes, buildings and weather, but I'm always on the lookout for unusual or humorous shots. I'm a big fan of Adobe Photoshop for maximising the potential of a shot, and sometimes enjoy getting 'creative', but mostly using techniques of my own, rather than the 'off the peg' Photoshop filters.
